The Boy Who Never Grew Up

February 2, 2009

A boy
clad in green
chasing his shadow
how naïve he is!
he doesn’t even know
what a kiss is
little Darlings
their feet leave the
safety of the earth
away from London
to a land of pirates
and indians and mermaids
and a rather large
crocodile
the eternal clash
of men and boys
a man named Hook
(how treacherous!)
by the life of
one golden girl
and a tiny bit of applause
the children come home
and the boy called Pan
flew back to his island
among the stars

  1. Very cool. 🙂
Although I don’t think Neverland is among the stars! But a lovely poem.

For a Peter Pan adventure unlike any other, take a look at this:
